Here is the opening of our December 20th, 2023, performance for the Red Cross Donor Appreciation Event. In this clip we play the beginning or “Celebration” by Bob Cerulla.
This drawing of bassoon player Barbara Buchman (with Roger Grupp conducting) was done by an artist whose name we can’t remember. It was done while the Capital City Wind Ensemble was performing at the St. Paul Public Library in about 2019.
We think it captures Barbara’s spirit and concentration very well, and we welcome any information about the artist, whom we would happily credit.
